I finally received my refund about a week ago. I was charged $75 for something no one has returned my call about.
But st this point I don’t have the energy to keep calling and asking about the $75 “admin charge”.... to *** with this place.

When I heard that City Club was taking over Village Green. I decided to re-new my lease, thinking that this would change the way things were done around here and the community would become better.
I could slap myself for thinking that way. I sent photos to the president about the trash that was scattered about as well as the antiquated phone box that has exposed wiring. I asked if we could get newer rugs in the hall way and was literally told "That's not in the current budget." Finally, when it came time to renew for 2019, I followed my gut and didn't renew. I gave my notice in writing and left a voice mail, well in advance.
When August 2018 came, I was given a 7-day notice for non-payment of rent. (wait it gets better). I show the office a copy of the letter I left as well as told the gentleman (I believe Kyle) that I left a voicemail, so why'd I'd get a 7-day notice? He advises that the voicemail is "hit or miss" and has some problems.
Wow. So, he asks me will I be paying the proration, to which I agree but I wasn't sure what that would be. He tells me $450 but I'm still marked as late for that. How am I being marked late on the proration when I haven't the slightest of what that amount would have been?
Beats me. So I exit the complex 8/13/2018. Cleaned the unit from top to bottom and also had papers of what dings and bumps where already there prior to me living there. It is now October and I've since been in contact with the property manager Christine for over 2 months wanting to know where my security deposit is.
I've sent multiple emails and have spoke to her but no dice. My sister has advised me to go to small claims court and I may do just that. Save your time and mental health and seek another community to call home.
